Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Web & SEO Specialist to enhance our clients’ digital presence by optimizing websites and driving organic traffic. In this role, you will be responsible for improving website functionality, implementing SEO strategies, and leveraging tools—including Generative AI—to deliver measurable results. Your work will play a critical role in increasing visibility, boosting engagement, and driving conversions.
Key Responsibilities
Website Management
- Develop, update, and maintain websites using platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, or Wix.
- Optimize website performance, including page speed, mobile responsiveness, and user experience.
- Ensure proper integration of tracking tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager, etc.) and implement UTM codes.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and implement on-page SEO strategies, including metadata optimization, internal linking, and content enhancements.
- Perform technical SEO audits and address issues such as crawl errors, broken links, and duplicate content.
- Collaborate with the Content Specialist to create optimized content tailored to target keywords and user intent.
Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Provide regular SEO performance reports, highlighting traffic, rankings, and recommendations for improvement.
- Use AI tools to generate insights and automate reporting processes.
SEO Strategy Development
- Identify and implement strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
- Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to maintain competitive rankings.
- Optimize local SEO efforts for businesses targeting specific geographic areas, including Google Business Profile management.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with the Paid Media Specialist to align website and SEO efforts with broader digital campaigns.
- Provide technical SEO recommendations to clients and internal teams.
- Support website launches or migrations to ensure SEO integrity is maintained.
Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- 2+ years of experience in web development, SEO, or a related role.
- Proficiency in CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools for content optimization and technical audits (e.g., Surfer SEO, ChatGPT).
Technical Skills
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for SEO purposes.
- Experience with website performance tools like PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or Lighthouse.
- Familiarity with schema markup, canonical tags, and other advanced SEO techniques.
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
